One of the things that Dr. Desai can help you with is to get US clinical experience. I can talk to you about my experience at SUNY Downstate which was an amazing experience for me. It's very difficult to get a hands-on rotation where you actually get to interview the patient perform a physical examination and have input in some of the cases and have direct interaction with them.
It was amazing and he's a great teacher he takes your opinion into consideration and now with COVID and everything getting a good rotation it's even more difficult, and with these years gone you need solid strong letters of recommendation. I think my experience you cannot go wrong with him, and Dr. Desai help me to set it up so if you guys have any doubts don't I'm a resident in the United States and I'm happy to be where I am and good luck to everybody.

So I met Dr. Desai through 2 colleagues (unrelated to each other) that successfully matched (one in neurology and the other one in internal medicine). Both of them HIGHLY recommended him to me.
I followed their steps and started working with him around April 2021 on my ERAS application, then on my PS and finally when the time came, we had a mock interview. Especially for me I was in a different country the Covid lockdown could be locked down was happening last year and I was and there was a lot of uncertainty in terms of you know how I'm going to get my intention done.
